Sis-Ter srl SB had the opportunity to take part to Hackathon SCIoTeM, an event organized by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia with the UniverMantova foundation, in collaboration with LTO Mantova, which has successfully reached its sixth edition.
A chance for about fifty students attending the bachelor degree program to face IT design and development challenges proposed by companies operating in different innovation sectors.

This year’s topic, “Smart city and mobility, Internet of things, Digital twins and Manufacturing,” fits perfectly into the sphere of activity of Sis-Ter srl SB, which has proposed three of the challenges. These range from fault prediction in a public lighting network, to new ways of urban mobility designing, to artificial intelligence techniques for advanced exploration of large databases. These are all topics in which Sis-Ter srl SB is extensively involved in its projects, as well as many others in the field of spatial services and data analysis.

Our company, in the context of events such as Hackathon SCIoTeM, intends to stimulate ideas, creativity, originality, and lateral thinking by sharing knowledge with those who may soon become future Sis-Ter employees or even simply to raise awareness of the opportunities that students will meet as they enter the world of work.
